Dr. Worapol Ngamcherdtrakul, a principal scientist of PDX Pharmaceuticals, gave a talk entitled “Versatile Nanoparticles For Delivery Of siRNAs, Cancer Drugs, And Vaccine Agents: Systemic And Topical Applications” on March 18th, 2019 at the 2nd Annual Formulation & Drug Delivery USA Congress in San Diego, CA.
-Our versatile mesoporous silica nanoparticle platform has been designed and optimized to deliver several classes of therapeutics, including siRNA, chemotherapy drugs, and vaccine agents.
-Development and optimization of both systemic and topical formulations of the nanoparticles was presented.
-The efficacy and safety of the therapeutic-loaded nanoparticles in several diseases, such as solid tumors (breast, lung, melanoma) and skin fibrosis, was presented.
